Thank you Captain Mike and Anthony for a wonderful day of fishing. We fished on August 9th and, despite fairly choppy conditions, the six of us in the charter caught our limit of Walleye. Captain Mike was knowledgeable, very personable, patient, and went out of his way to ensure our needs were met. His mate, Anthony was very personable, hard working, and helpful. Both captain and mate worked well together as a team to ensure enough rods were in the water at all times to improve our chances of catching fish. We had a very enjoyable and productive trip. I highly recommend Captain Mike.

I would strongly recommend Mr Mike for a guide, and help. We booked him for a day of steelhead fishing. He knows the best spots and very knowledgeable of streams locations, and baits to use were. He was very polite and respectful and was well prepared for us in the morning. We limited out and had a blast!! Lots of fun and looking forward to booking a walleye trip this summer. I had the pleasure of spending a perfect Saturday afternoon with Captain Mike fishing with my son for walleye on Lake Erie. I have fished up and down the eastern seaboard for fifty years, ponds, lakes, rivers, streams and ocean. Captain Mike, is by far the finest charter i have ever had. I thought when he put out thirteen rods, that he was insane and for sure there would be chaos, folks, NO CHAOS, just fish and good size walleye. Thirteen rods and not one tangle, IMPRESSIVE ! His nephew, Warren is a master with a filet knife, I am good but this kid is great. Most people forget the cheeks, not here ! My son and i came home with around twenty pounds of beautiful, perfectly trimmed walleye fillets i four hours. Mike and nephew are a class act and you won't find a better charter ANYWHERE , PERIOD. Go, have fun, enjoy the ride and expect tired arms and a lot of fillets to feast on and give away. You will be glad you did !!!

Every January we plan our year's events out. Loco Loco gets at least 2 dates a year. I have know Mike since 2009 and he is such a great fisherman, captain and great friend. You will enjoy your charter.
Went out with Mike and John on a Sunday, hooked up on a couple Steel heads right out the gate within 15 min of leaving the dock!! They werent biting much after that so Mike made the decision to run out to the walleye grounds. Once we got there, the fish flew in the boat. We ended up with 30 Walleyes and 4 steel heads. All really nice fish!! We will for sure be going out with Mike again, great captain and really nice vessels. Recommend booking with him!!

Captain Mike is a slam dunk five star rating! My family has been out with him two times in the last two years and your experience and safety are a primary concern! He is a consummate professional with top-notch electronics and Lake knowledge! I fish a lot … and I will be hard pressed to ever select a different charter captain for Lake Erie. In case I have not mentioned it each time I’ve gone, we have limited and filled the cooler… remember, it’s called fishing, not catching, but if you want to increase your odds, this is the guy … If I’m gonna pay money for an experience with my family it will be with a professional like captain Mike every time!

I went on charter lake erie in ohio loco charters.It was a wonderful trip captain and first mate did a wonderful job.On the boat at 6 am off the boat by 11 am.I highly recommend loco charters.
Went on a half day evening trip with Capt Mike and Anthony. What they claimed was a slow start picked up relatively quick. These guys are top notch and will get you on the walleye, with steelhead thrown in the mix. I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed!
Just want to take a minute and thank Captain Mike for ANOTHER great fishing trip. We just returned from our walleye trip. I've been fishing with Loco Loco Charters and Captain Mike for 8 years. What impresses me the most, and every time, is his knowledge of just not the fish, but the water and typography of the lake and where the fish are. I've trolled for walleye, steelies, and lakers and a few 1 on 1 fly fishing trips for steelies and have never not limited out on what we were fishing for.
